With all plans outlined below, you will receive a prescriptive outline, based upon a diagnostic assessment, to ensure your academic accomplishments and extracurricular talents are showcased for optimum opportunities for scholarships and college admission offers. The key to success is your planning and preparation for college. Naturally, for optimum results, it is best to start early. ICC offers a variety of cost efficient plan options to best serve your needs. All packages include unlimited email/phone contact and additional personal appointments whenever appropriate. ICC counselors are available for hourly counseling services in order to provide information and advice about a wide range of topics concerning the entire college process as well as the scholarship and financial aid process.
$250 (2-hr. Consultation* for Students in 8th and 9th Grade)
• Initial intake consultation reviewing academic accomplishments thus far as well as guidance on course selection for subsequent years including Pre-AP, AP, Concurrent and Dual Admission courses
• Discuss interests and KSAs (knowledge-skills-abilities) providing guidance for extracurricular clubs and activities as well as summer activities
• Provide guidance for ACT, SAT, test preparation, etc.
• Provide preliminary suggestions on colleges to consider based upon diagnosed interests as well as KSAs
• Provide an individualized prescriptive approach for ways to focus on academics during middle school and high school as well as take steps to help make it to be a fun and successful experience
